Official Tournament Rules

Seeding: Tournament seeding will be determined by the order of arrival. The first player to arrive will be seeded as Player 1, the second player as Player 2, and so on.

Game Duration: Matches will be played with 7-minute quarters to ensure competitive gameplay and strategic decision-making.

System Selection: If there is a preference conflict between players regarding the gaming system, a coin toss will be conducted. Player 1 will call heads or tails, and the winner of the coin toss will have their preferred system used for the match (Xbox or PS5).

Match Format: The tournament will follow a single-elimination format, where players compete head-to-head in each round. The winner of each match advances to the next round, while the loser is eliminated.

Game Settings: Default game settings will be used unless otherwise specified by the tournament organizers.

Controllers: Players may use their own controllers or the provided tournament controllers, subject to availability and compatibility.

Sportsmanship: All participants are expected to display good sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Any form of cheating, glitch exploitation, or unsportsmanlike behavior will result in immediate disqualification.

Tournament Organizer Decisions: The tournament organizers have the final say in any disputes or rule clarifications. Their decisions are binding and non-negotiable.

Disconnects or Technical Issues: In the event of a disconnect or technical issue, the match may be replayed from the beginning, depending on the severity and timing of the issue. The tournament organizers will make the final determination on how to proceed.

Prize Distribution: Prizes will be awarded to the top-performing participants, as determined by the tournament format and announced prior to the start of the event.
